Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was the 33rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Higgins had an impressive college career, totaling 135 receptions for 2,448 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns in three years at Clemson.
The former Tiger had a solid rookie season, with 67 receptions on 108 targets for 908 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Higgins had another productive year in 2021, totaling 74 receptions on 110 targets for 1,091 receiving yards and six touchdowns despite the arrival of Ja’Marr Chase.
More importantly, the former Clemson star had played well this season. He has 12 receptions on 32 targets for 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns in four games, leading the team in touchdowns.

Is Tee Higgins Playing In Week 5?
Unfortunately, Higgins suffered a fractured rib injury in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans. Initial reports stated the star receiver would miss multiple weeks with the injury. Yet, the former Clemson star said he might play against the Arizona Cardinals this week.
However, the injury was too much for Higgins to overcome. The Bengals have officially ruled out the star wide receiver for the Week 5 matchup.
With Higgins unable to play, Joe Burrow will lean on Chase and Tyler Boyd in the passing game.
Should I Start Tyler Boyd?
Last week, the former Pittsburgh Panther struggled against the Titans. He caught four of seven targets for 26 receiving yards, scoring 4.6 half-point PPR fantasy points. Yet, Boyd had one of the higher air yard shares in Week 4.
While the veteran wide receiver will see an uptick in snaps and targets with Higgins out of the lineup, fantasy players should avoid starting the former Pittsburgh Panther. Boyd has had under 61 receiving yards in 13 consecutive regular season games, dating back to last year.
Instead, fantasy players should target Rashee Rice off the waiver wire. The rookie receiver has played well this season, averaging 6.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he leads the team in target per route run rate (36.5%) and yards per route run (2.69).
More importantly, Rice faces the Minnesota Vikings this week. They have surrendered 40.1 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, the most in the NFL.
