Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman has inked a three-year, $12 million extension. The contract will have a cap hit of $4 million and runs through the 2026-27 season. Hartman's current deal, which is set to expire next summer, counts $1.7 million against the salary cap. This is a nice raise for the American forward and it comes despite Hartman having a down year in 2022-23. Following an impressive 65-point season, he could only record 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 59 games. The 29-year-old, who is set to start his fifth campaign in Minnesota, will aim to have a bounce-back season in 2023-24 as the Wild's first-line center.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
