1 year agoIn last year's Playoff race at the Charlotte Roval, Christopher Bell needed to win to advance to the next round, and he did exactly that. This season, Bell has a 22-point cushion over the cut line heading into this weekend's cutoff race at the Charlotte Roval, so he's not in a must-win situation, but it's definitely possible that Bell goes back-to-back at Charlotte. In 19 career starts on road courses in the Cup Series, Bell has amassed two victories (here at the Charlotte Roval and at the Daytona Road Course) and has posted a top-10 finish in ten of those races. He qualified on the front row for this weekend's Bank of America ROVAL 400 and should be at least a top 10 contender in this weekend's race. --Jordan McAbee
