Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. In Sunday's contest, Jacobs was also targeted 11 times for eight receptions and 81 yards. After an underwhelming start to the season, Jacobs is showing signs of life. Jacobs faces the Green Bay Packers on Monday. The Packers are coming off a game where they allowed David Montgomery to run all over them. The Lions running back racked up 141 total yards and three rushing touchdowns on 34 opportunities. Jacobs will look to replicate the success that Montgomery found. With Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams questionable for this contest and Garoppolo returning from a concussion, Jacobs may be expected to carry more of the load on offense. Opportunity is king in fantasy football, and Jacobs could be in line for a ton of it. Through four weeks, Jacobs leads all running backs in receiving yards and could see many targets if Adams is absent on Monday. Fantasy managers should be excited to start Jacobs as an RB1 this week.--Joshua Costello - RotoBaller

Per Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs told 97.3 The Game that he thinks his team should invest in a true standout WR1 moving forward. "We've got a really young group of receivers. All can be really, really, really special," said Jacobs. "But I think personally we need a guy...that we know is going to be a little bit more consistent." Green Bay enjoyed much success this season -- finishing 11-6 -- but could not gain any traction in the playoffs. Despite the Packers bolstering four wideouts aged 25 or younger that eclipsed 400 receiving yards in 2024, none of them reached the 1,000-yard mark. However, Green Bay did rank eighth in the league with 26.1 points per game and lost their best deep threat (WR Christian Watson) to a late-season ACL injury. We'll see if the Pack move to secure a new alpha with a few big-name free-agent wideouts available in 2025, such as Tee Higgins, Cooper Kupp, and Amari Cooper.--Alex Ciulla

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs maintained his stellar production into the postseason despite the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles during the Wild-Card round. Jacobs was the main cog in the Packers' offensive attack as he carried the ball 18 times for 81 yards, including a fourth-quarter touchdown that gave the Packers their only touchdown of the afternoon. He also caught all three of his targets for 40 yards as a safety valve for quarterback Jordan Love. In his first season as a Packer, Jacobs was a massive success with over 1,300 rushing yards and 16 total touchdowns on the season. Jacobs will be a highly-drafted running back in 2025 fantasy leagues in this Packers' system that feeds him the ball.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs looks to keep his regular season momentum rolling into the playoffs as the Packers head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in their Wild Card game on Sunday afternoon. Jacobs ended the regular season with a bang as he scored 12 rushing touchdowns in his last eight games with a per-game average of 18 carries and 98 total yards in that span. To say Jacobs has been consistent after the Packers' Week 10 bye is quite an understatement. As Jacobs goes, so does the Packers' offense and with Jordan Love (elbow) banged up following Week 18 but off the injury report, the Packers could choose to lean further on their rushing attack against the Eagles. Even with Philadelphia allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this season, Jacobs is a very solid touches-based RB1 for playoff and DFS contests.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs maintained his massive touchdown streak despite the Packers' 24-22 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 18. Jacobs did not see the volume he normally does and did not record a touch following his nine-yard touchdown plunge in the second quarter. After that score, Jacobs ceded the way for Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks to rest up for the Packers' playoff push. With his touchdown in Week 18, that makes 12 total touchdowns in Jacobs' final eight games. With the Packers headed to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in the Wild Card round, Jacobs is a locked-in RB1 for playoff contests.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBaller
