Many clubs have made big moves this offseason to help bolster their cup chances and chances of getting a European spot for next season. Will we see a new title winner this season or will Liverpool and Manchester City continue to battle it out for the top spot?
The top favorite for this weekend is Fulham -165 vs Sheffield United +490. I will guide you through this six-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST.

EPL DFS Goalies
Goalies
Mark Flekken - DK $4.1K || FD $8
Opponent - Manchester United
The goalkeeper position is less than ideal this weekend, leaving zero ‘safe’ options. However, Flekken has been performing admirably for the Hornets since his arrival in the offseason and he will have yet another opportunity to put together a strong performance. The Red Devils are anything but good right now and there is insurmountable amounts of turmoil surrounding the club after a disastrous start to the season. They are in the top five in Shots For Per 90, but in the bottom ten in Goals For Per 90, making this a great value play for Flekken. Especially when considering Brentford will be playing at Old Trafford in which the hosts will be expected to generate a fair share of shots. Over Flekken’s last five domestic matches, he has 11 saves and 8 goals conceded. Don’t be surprised if Brentford walks away with one or less goals against.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Leno (DK $5.7K || FD $13), Sanchez (DK $5.4K || FD $13)
EPL DFS Forwards
Nicolas Jackson - DK $7.5K || FD $19
Opponent - Burnley FC
Is this finally the matchup where Jackson explodes? The Chelsea striker has struggled to score since arriving, despite the numerous attempts on net. In his six domestic appearances, he has 1 goal, 19 shots, 5 created chances, 1 cross, 5 tackles, 1 interception and 4 clearances. The Clarets are the second-worst in Goals Against Per 90 – 2.29 – and the third-worst in Created Chances Against Per 90 – 13.43 –. Furthermore, they are in the bottom ten in all other metrics against. This is THE match for Jackson to finally burst open his goal account with the Blues.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Hojlund (DK $7K || FD $20), Jimenez (DK $4.7K || FD $16)
EPL DFS Midfielders
Andreas Pereira - DK $6.9K || FD $14
Opponent - Sheffield United
Pereira has one of the best matchups due to Sheffield’s putrid defense. Sheffield is the worst club in everything and by a landslide. As what some consider a shadow striker, Pereira tails the back of whoever features at striker, looking for loose balls and creative opportunities within the box. This is what made him so dangerous when now ex-teammate Aleksandar Mitrovic played at the club. Sheffield is expected to continue to play their 3-5-2, which can make things hard at times, however, if the Cottagers can break through, they will have massive opportunities to bounce back after a 2-0 shutout via Chelsea at home. In Pereira’s last five domestic appearances, he has 1 goal, 3 shots, 9 created chances, 23 crosses, 17 corners, 3 tackles, 1 interception and 2 clearances.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Fernandes (DK $9.7K || FD $23), McNeil (DK $8.7K || FD $15)
EPL DFS Defenders
Milos Kerkez - DK $3.8K || FD $11
Opponent - Everton
The defender selection on this slate is ugly to say the very least. There are zero set-piece takers and the ‘value’ is slim to none. The next best step is to find a match that is projected to be a back-and-forth meeting and AFC Bournemouth at Goodison Park matches the bill. Fullback, Milos Kerkez has been one of the cornerstones on a very bad Bournemouth backline this season. Luckily, he puts together enough peripherals to pull together a floor. Over his last five domestic fixtures, he has 1 shot, 1 created chance, 16 crosses, 14 tackles, 3 interceptions, 14 clearances and 1 block. With both clubs desperate for points, expect Kerkez to see plenty of action on and off the ball.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Robinson (DK $5.4K || FD $12), Cucurella (DK $4.7K || FD $12)
Corner Takers
- Burnley FC: Brownhill
- Chelsea: Fernandez
- Everton: McNeil
- AFC Bournemouth: Cook/Christie
- Fulham: Pereira
- Sheffield United: Norwood/Hamer
- Manchester United: Fernandes
- Brentford: Jensen/Mbeumo
