Spencer Strider Aiming To Remain Dominant Versus Phillies in NLDS
1 year agoAtlanta Braves right-hander Spencer Strider will look to keep up his dominance over the Philadelphia Phillies when the two NL East rivals meet in the NLDS beginning Saturday in Atlanta. Strider made four starts versus the Phils this season, combining to toss 26 innings of seven-run ball (2.42 ERA) while striking out a hefty 38 hitters in that time. Additionally, Strider earned the win in each of those four starts while he sports a 1.90 ERA across 47 1/3 innings in his regular-season career versus Philadelphia. The Braves have yet to announce a starting pitcher for Game 1 on Saturday but it's likely to be either Strider or left-hander Max Fried.
