Bailey Ober Tosses Gem In Regular Season Finale
1 year agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober was excellent on Sunday in a 3-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies. Ober tossed six and two-thirds innings of one-run ball, allowing just two hits and posting a 9:0 K:BB ratio. It is a continuation of what we've seen all season long from the righty, who has posted a 3.43 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 146:29 K:BB ratio over 144 ⅓ IP. Ober has made a strong case to be included in the Twins rotation during the postseason, but with him pitching on the final day of the regular season he will likely be left off the roster for the Wild Card series. He could make a start in the Division Series should the Twins make it that far.
