Zach Eflin Set To Start Game 2 For Rays
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Zach Eflin will start Game 2 of the Wild Card series against the Texas Rangers on Thursday. Eflin will follow Tyler Glasnow, who will start Game 1 Tuesday. Eflin has been excellent in his first year with the Rays, pitching to career-lows with a 3.50 ERA and 1.02 WHIP while striking out a career-high 186 batters in 177 ⅔ IP. The Rangers haven't said who they will be starting yet, but Eflin should have an advantage no matter who he's up against in Game 2.
