1 year agoToronto Maple Leafs defenseman Conor Timmins (lower body) is set to miss time after exiting Friday's preseason contest versus Montreal early with injury. "He is going to miss some time, he is going to be out for a bit," Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe said of Timmins. The injury is a bitter pill to swallow for Timmins, as the 25-year-old was enjoying a great preseason with six points (two goals, four assists) in three games. Timmins also gave a good account of himself last season with a 14-point effort in 25 games, and he is poised for a bigger role in 2023-24.
