George Kirby Picks Up Quality Start, Win
1 year agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher George Kirby threw six shutout innings in a 1-0 win over the Texas Rangers on Sunday. Kirby allowed three hits and zero walks, striking out seven. He moved to 13-10 on the season with a 3.35 ERA. The young righty hovered around a top-15 starting pitcher most of this season. Kirby finished with an ADP of 117, making him one of the best values in drafts this preseason. That number will surely shrink next year, as he should be a hot commodity for fantasy managers.
