Leaving New England to join the Las Vegas Raiders has been good for Jakobi Meyers' fantasy production in the early going in 2023.
Meyers is averaging 83.0 yards per game, about 30 more yards than he averaged in his past three seasons as a Patriot. He has scored two touchdowns and been targeted at least 10 times in both games he has played.
In Week 4, Meyers and the Raiders face the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Is Meyers a good start in this divisional matchup?

What Did Jakobi Meyers Do In Week 3?
After missing Week 2 with a concussion, Meyers was back in action for a home game the Raiders lost to the Steelers 23-18 on Sunday Night Football. Despite the loss, Meyers played well.
The WR was targeted 12 times and caught seven passes for 85 yards.
Meyers has been lining up wide on the opposite side of Davante Adams most of the time, and Jimmy Garoppolo is targeting the receivers out wide.
Jakobi Meyers Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis
Meyers is the No. 26 WR in RotoBaller's Week 4 PPR rankings.
Rank | O-Rank | Tier | Trend | Player | Yards |
26 | 48 | 4 | ↓ | Jakobi Meyers | 166 |
Meyers' dynasty value was declining all summer after he joined the Las Vegas Raiders. That is probably due to the uncertainty the Raiders had at quarterback before. But now he is back up to WR46 on KeepTradeCut after his early season success.
Should I Start Jakobi Meyers in Week 4 Fantasy Football?
The Chargers defense has been diced up by opposing quarterbacks. They allow the most passing yards per game, the third-most passing yards per attempt, and the 10th-highest completion percentage.
Most of the passing yards they allow go to opposing WRs, not RBs or TEs. They are the single most favorable matchup for opposing WRs in terms of both standard scoring and FanDuel's scoring system.
The problem for the Raiders' WRs, however, is that starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been ruled out with a concussion.
Rookie Aidan O'Connell is starting in Week 4. O'Connell is 25 years old, which is old for a rookie. He played for years at Purdue after walking on. He was inactive for the first two years of his collegiate career before serving as the Boilermakers' backup for two seasons, and then starting and making second-team All Big Ten in 2021 and 2022.
O'Connell looked good in preseason, but it's another thing going up against a starting defense in a game that matters. He might be the next Brock Purdy, or he might be flustered.
Jakobi Meyers heads into Week 4 with momentum, has achieved quality production so far this year, and has a favorable matchup, but the team's quarterback situation is a mess. He is a high-risk, high-reward start.
