Heading into Sunday's race, Elliott is on a bit of a hot streak as he has finished in the top 11 in five straight races. This shows that despite not making the playoffs this season, Elliott is still competing for wins. The No. 9 has proven he is a driver who will compete in each and every race he is in. It does not matter if he is not in the playoffs. Elliott races every week and tries to win.
