NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Week 4 Monday Night Football
Daniel Jones OVER 32.5 Rushing Yards
Jones and the Giants have been one of the NFL’s bigger disappointments to start the season. After losing RB Saquon Barkley in Week 2 to a high ankle sprain, New York struggled to move the ball on the ground against San Francisco’s top-rated defense last week. New York mustered just 29 rushing yards on 11 team attempts including two carries from Jones for five yards, a far cry from his 51 rushing yards per game averaged in Weeks 1-2.
Barkley is not expected to return this week, meaning Jones should be expected to shoulder more of the work on the ground if the Giants are to stay competitive against Seattle on Monday Night.
Rotoballer’s Proptimizer tool outlines a 25.5% edge for this prop, the highest edge for a prop in this matchup based on a Sharp App projected line of 53.4 rushing yards.
Darius Slayton UNDER 39.5 Receiving Yards
Slayton has a tough assignment on Monday night against the Seahawks. With the Giants receiver spending 78% of his snaps on the outside so far this season, he won’t be able to avoid Seattle’s perimeter corner tandem in Tariq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon. PFF gives Slayton’s matchups against these corners a 17.2 and 43.7 matchup grade, respectively, both well below average.
Slayton is averaging three catches per game and currently has a dismal 53% catch rate, ranking 163rd out of 191 eligible receivers this season. Slayton will likely need at least seven targets and four catches to hit his over on Monday night, marks he has yet to reach this season. Fade him in Week 4.
Kenneth Walker OVER 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns
The Giants have allowed an opposing running back rushing touchdown in every game this season, and Walker is the likely back to continue that trend in Week 4. Walker is second in the NFL in carries inside the five-yard-line and third in rushing touchdowns with four so far in 2023.
This bet also provides a 2.15x multiplier on Sleeper which is a great way to increase potential payouts in this matchup. While the Seahawks will continue to work rookie Zach Charbonnet into the rotation as the season progresses, there is still time to take advantage of Walker’s attractive goal-line usage and touchdown rate.
