1 year agoDetroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta is the fantasy TE2 overall after posting 18 receptions for 186 yards and a touchdown through his first three NFL games. He delivered a big-time performance in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons with eight receptions for 84 yards and a score. Given the scarcity at the tight end position, this early production already qualifies him as a must-start option. Though the Green Bay Packers haven't allowed much to tight ends thus far, LaPorta is no worse than the No. 3 option in Detroit's high-powered passing offense.
