Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jonathan Mingo had a productive final season in college and turned heads at the NFL Combine, earning second-round draft capital in the 2023 NFL Draft. He has wasted no time becoming a starter, posting an 87% snap share in Week 1 and a 98% snap share in Week 2.
However, the Ole Miss product left his Week 3 game early and is dealing with an injury heading into Week 4.
Is Mingo injured or healthy? Will he play in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings? Let's dive in.

Jonathan Mingo Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Mingo (concussion) is in concussion protocol after getting banged up in the team's Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie wideout caught three passes on six targets for 21 yards before exiting Sunday's game.
His status for the Week 4 contest with the Minnesota Vikings is uncertain, but usually, players will miss at least a week with a head injury.
Jonathan Mingo Fantasy Football Outlook
Mingo is not on the fantasy radar after totaling just eight receptions for 61 yards through three career games. If he misses the game against the Vikings, Adam Thielen, DJ Chark Jr., Hayden Hurst, and Terrace Marshall Jr. should see more targets. Andy Dalton might start another game while No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young (ankle) tries to get back to full strength.
At this point in their respective careers, Dalton is likely the better pure passer and can actually be viewed as an upgrade for the Panthers' pass-catchers after throwing for 361 yards in Week 3.
Mingo could become a fantasy-relevant option at some point in his rookie campaign, but it's far from a given. The Carolina offense is likely to struggle mightily when Young returns and both players are merely promising dynasty league assets for now.
If Mingo is active for Week 4, he should be left on the bench -- even in the favorable matchup against the weak Minnesota secondary.
