Aaron Judge's Playing Time To End The Season Up In The Air
1 year agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge said on Sunday that he has no plans of shutting it down with just one week left in the season. However, manager Aaron Boone was less definitive about it on Monday than Judge was, saying that he would talk to Judge about him playing the rest of the way. The 31-year-old right-handed power hitter is starting against the Arizona Diamondbacks and right-hander Merrill Kelly on Monday, and he's received just three days off since returning from the injured list from his toe injury in late August. The Yankees are out of the playoff picture and may prefer to get some of their younger players some more at-bats with one week left in the season.
