1 year agoWhen it comes to the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, winning races is one of the most important factors when it comes to truly competing for a Championship, but being consistent has its place as well. That's exactly what Chris Buescher is doing this season. In Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway, Buescher came home with a 14th-place finish after ending up inside the top five in each of the first two Stages. He earned 38 total points in the race, which was tied for fourth-most of all drivers. Buescher now sits in third-place in the Playoffs points standings, and is 22 points above the cut line with two races remaining in the Round of 12. --Jordan McAbee
