New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is one of the best at his position. His fantasy value is just hurt by poor quarterback play.
A Week 1 injury to Aaron Rodgers has forced the Jets to start Zach Wilson at quarterback. That has hurt Wilson's upside, but he has still finished as a starting-caliber WR in Weeks 1 and 2.
Will Garrett Wilson's production continue in Week 3 against the New England Patriots? Should you start Wilson? Let's jump in.

What Did Garrett Wilson Do In Weeks 1 And 2?
Garrett Wilson made a crazy touchdown catch in the Jets' Week 1 victory over the Buffalo Bills. He jumped up and just kind of pulled the ball out of the air.
But he only gained 34 yards on five catches. His fantasy numbers would have been disappointing--especially in standard scoring--without the touchdown. In Week 2, he put up good standard numbers--83 yards and a touchdown--but only made two total catches.
Garrett Wilson has been touchdown-dependent so far. That's not entirely a bad thing. Wilson is good at scoring touchdowns, and he is by far the Jets' best offensive weapon. His high touchdown production is the result of talent and game plan, not luck, so he should keep it up in most games. But when he doesn't score a touchdown, as he won't in some games, he is likely to bust.
Garrett Wilson Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis
Garrett Wilson was ranked as the No. 9 PPR WR by the RotoBaller staff heading into the season. In the early Week 3 half-point PPR rankings, he is WR20.
Wilson is yet to rank in the top 20 WRs in full-PPR scoring. In Week 1, he was WR22, then in Week 2, he was WR27. He does rank higher in standard and half-PPR. In half-point PPR, he ranked as WR22 and WR21 in the first two weeks.
Should I Start Garrett Wilson In Week 3 Fantasy Football?
While Wilson's quarterback situation is non-ideal, he is still a quality start in leagues that require three starting WRs or two WRs plus flex. The Patriots are a tough defense, but Wilson produced WR3 numbers last week against the Cowboys, who are even better.
Wilson went for over 80 yards against a Cowboys defense that ranks No. 1 in defending the pass. The Cowboys allow only 3.8 yards per pass attempt, the fewest in the league, while the Patriots allow 6.3 yards per pass attempt, the 18th-fewest.
The Bills, against whom Wilson caught five passes, including one for a touchdown, also allow fewer passing yards per game than the Patriots do. Wilson should be considered a reliable WR3 or flex option in Week 3.
