Jahmyr Gibbs Could Be In For Big Game Against Falcons
1 year agoDetroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has rushed 14 times for 59 yards and caught nine passes on 11 targets for 57 yards in his first two NFL games. His usage is expected to see an uptick as the season progresses, and with David Montgomery (thigh) looking doubtful to play against the Atlanta Falcons, this could be the spot for him to produce a boom performance. The rookie should see the majority of touches if Montgomery is on the shelf, so he would become a virtual must-start option. Craig Reynolds would likely mix in on early downs, though. If Montgomery surprisingly plays, Gibbs will continue to have low-end PPR league flex value.
