New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller has yet to make his NFL debut after being selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The rookie posted 1,515 yards of offense and 17 touchdowns in his final season at Texas Christian University, so he had plenty of hype surrounding him this offseason.
A hamstring injury held him out of Week 1 and 2, but he might be ready to play in his first game as a pro in Week 3.
Should you start Miller against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3? Let's dive into his latest injury stats and fantasy outlook.

Kendre Miller Injury Update
Miller put in a full practice on Wednesday and is expected to be ready to roll in Week 3. Though Miller didn't play in the first two games of the season, head coach Dennis Allen admitted that he held Miller out as a precaution in the Monday night win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 2.
As long as the 21-year-old doesn't suffer a setback in practice this week, he will make his NFL debut at Lambeau Field this Sunday against Green Bay.
Should I Start Kendre Miller In Week 3 Fantasy Football?
Miller's recovery from his hamstring injury couldn't have come at a better time. Jamaal Williams (hamstring) is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks, and Alvin Kamara still has to sit out one more contest due to a suspension.
That said, Miller should slot in as the team's RB1 immediately. Tony Jones Jr., who scored two touchdowns in Week 2, could see carries, but the Saints will likely want to feed its new offensive weapon right away.
Fantasy managers who are weak at the running back spot might want to roll the dice on Miller in this contest. The Packers have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs thus far, so the matchup is juicy. On the flip side, fantasy managers with plenty of running back depth should likely keep Miller on the bench. You never know what a rookie's usage will be in his first NFL contest, and Jones and Taysom Hill could steal touches inside the 10-yard line.
Miller makes for a fun DFS option in Week 3, but his outlook for traditional leagues is unclear. Start-or-sit decisions like this one are what make fantasy football great!
