Freddy Peralta Pitches Well, Takes Tough Loss Monday
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta turned in another strong start but took the loss in Monday's 1-0 game against the Cardinals. Peralta pitched six innings, allowing a single run on four hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with six strikeouts. The 27-year-old had a rough start to the season but has really picked things up and now owns a 12-9 record with a 3.71 ERA and an 11.40 K/9 rate in 29 starts. His next matchup will be a middling one at the Marlins, but fantasy managers should feel comfortable relying on him for the final few weeks of the season.
