1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright hit a historical milestone in Monday's 1-0 win over the Brewers, earning his 200th career win. The 42-year-old turned back the clock, pitching seven innings while allowing four hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Wainwright's season has not reflected his stellar career and he will retire at the end of this season, so this achievement has been a true highlight. He is now the fifth active MLB pitcher in the 200-win club.
