Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams delivered once again and was highly productive in the team's Week 2 loss to the 49ers. After Week 1, there were some concerns about whether or not Williams was the solution at running back.
With Cam Akers a late scratch on Sunday, Kyren was the clear RB1 and has now found the end zone for the fourth time this season.
With Akers' future in LA soon coming to an end, should you pick Williams up in fantasy leagues after his Week 2 showing?

What Did Kyren Williams Do in Week 2 Fantasy Football?
Kyren Williams is a second-year running back out of Notre Dame. The Notre Dame product carried the ball 14 times for 52 yards and a rushing touchdown, along with catching six receptions for 48 yards and a receiving touchdown.
That means on Sunday, Williams tied his career high in rushing yards (52) while also setting new career highs in receptions (six) and receiving yards (48). This also marks back-to-back weeks with two total touchdowns!
Williams made some impressive runs and receptions versus a great 49ers defense. This is about as good of a start to the season as the Rams could have asked from him.
Were There Any Worrying Signs With Kyren Williams in Week 2?
There have yet to be any worrying signs, especially with Cam Akers being deactivated late Sunday. This leaves Williams as the clear-cut RB1.
According to ESPN, Ronnie Rivers should serve as Kyren Williams' immediate backup. Rivers has nine carries for 21 yards and five receptions for 29 yards in his two-year career.
With the talent of Cam Akers on the way out, there should be no worry for Kyren Williams in the short term. Clearly, Sean McVay has full faith in Williams going forward.
Should I Pickup Kyren Williams Off The Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football?
With this level of production from Kyren Williams, it would be irresponsible to ignore him if he's still available on the waiver wire heading into Week 3.
If the Rams' offense continues to exceed expectations, expect Kyren Williams to be a huge contributing factor for them and your fantasy teams!
