Latavius Murray Punches In Touchdown In Blowout Win
1 year agoBuffalo Bills running back Latavius Murray was third on the team in carries behind James Cook and Damien Harris in the 38-10 blowout victory over the visiting Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2 on Sunday, but he did score his first touchdown of the 2023 season. Murray finished with six carries for 22 yards (3.7 yards per carry) and also caught both of his targets for nine yards. Murray finished with one more touch than Harris and played 23 percent of the offensive snaps compared to Harris' 18 percent. The 33-year-old veteran was often on the field with the Bills near the goal line, a trend that could continue the rest of the way. Murray won't have a consistent role in Buffalo's backfield as long as Cook is healthy, making him a touchdown-dependent RB4/flex in deeper fantasy leagues.
