Dalvin Cook Bottled Up In Week 2 Loss
1 year agoNew York Jets running back Dalvin Cook handled four rush attempts for seven yards and added five receiving yards on one catch in the team's Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Cook also lost a fumble in the third quarter. Although he was ultimately ineffective, Cook led New York's running backs in touches and snaps as the Jets were quickly forced to pass to stay in the game. With Breece Hall expected to receive more work as the season progresses, Cook's opportunities could dwindle in the coming weeks. The veteran should be viewed as a desperation flex option for yet another tough matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 3.
