Paul Goldschmidt Nails 25th Dinger Sunday
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt smacked his 25th homer and 28th double of the season in a 6-5 win over the Phillies on Sunday. The 36-year-old slugger has 340 home runs since starting his major league career in 2011. Sunday's dinger tied him with Jack Clark for 105th place on the all-time home run list. Goldschmidt has had a slow few months but still carries a solid slash line of .273/.366/.456. He's also recorded 78 RBI in 561 trips to the plate.
