Ryan Newman Qualifies 27th For Bristol Race On Saturday
1 year agoRyan Newman got the call for Rick Ware Racing and delivered a 27th place effort in qualifying on Friday. The No. 51 Ford driver had two top five results at Bristol what feels like moons ago (a second in 2004). Needless to say, the Rick Ware car has had slower track speed. Even in practice, Newman was dead last and his 10-lap average was 16.005 seconds. That is not a good sign on a track where low 15's is a lot more optimal. Expect Newman to be closer to the back again.
