Hey! You can't fall asleep yet! There's still college football going on and still money to be won in DFS! It's not over until WE say it is! Are you with me? Let's finish Week 3 of the last great college football season the right way!
No one is slumming tonight, though you could claim Arizona is against UTEP. We start this off with Colorado and Colorado State from Boulder, which is going to be a fun one. The middle games feature Fresno in the desert to take on the Sun Devils and Kansas heading to Reno to take on Nevada.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/16/23, locking at 10 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado ($9,300)
Shedeur Sanders has 66 DraftKings points in two games and is taking on one of the worst pass defenses on the planet. Don't overthink this one. Sanders is going to have another monster game.
Jalon Daniels, Kansas ($8,500)
I'm going to try to get both in the same lineup, but values are hard to come by, especially if we don't punt with Fowler-Nicolosi. If it comes down to Sanders against Jalon Daniels, Sanders has the higher upside, but Daniels is playing the worse opponent. Daniels is a great pivot off of Sanders in large-field GPP if you're trying to avoid ownership. There's better than a puncher's chance that he will be within five fantasy points of Sanders.
Also consider: Jayden de Laura, Arizona ($9,000); Mikey Keene, Fresno State ($6,800); Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, Colorado State ($5,700)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Michael Wiley, Arizona ($6,000)
Michael Wiley has 21 carries and 16 receptions through two games, so you know the Wildcats are going to get him the ball whenever possible. He is going to have a lot of room to roam against UTEP and should break at least one long touchdown in this one. It's hard to find more bang for your buck than Wiley in this matchup.
Cam Skattebo, Arizona State ($5,800)
Cam Skattebo once again had a large workload against Oklahoma State last week. He didn't catch as many passes as in the opener, but he scored another touchdown. Skattebo has proven to be a tough runner for the Sun Devils, but the main complaint is that the Sun Devils didn't convert on any of the fourth-and-short with this kind of wrecking ball in the backfield.
Also consider: Dylan Edwards, Colorado ($6,200); Elijah Gilliam, Fresno State ($5,600); Deion Hankins, UTEP ($5,200)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Xavier Weaver, Colorado ($6,800)
This Colorado receiver room might be right up there with Ohio State. Xavier Weaver had the monster game against Nebraska. It was fellow South Florida transfer Jimmy Horn Jr. against TCU. Travis Hunter is still playing a ton of snaps on offense as well. That makes all of them risky propositions, but a date with Colorado State could lead to productive games for at least two of the three. I prefer Weaver just a bit more, but you really can't go wrong with any of them.
Erik Brooks, Fresno State ($6,300)
Don't feel like playing the guessing game with Colorado's receivers? Look no further than Erik Brooks. He has 17 receptions for 265 yards and three touchdowns in two games. Brooks is one of my favorite plays on the entire slate.
Justus Ross-Simmons, Colorado State ($4,700)
Tory Horton is the proven veteran, but it was Justus Ross-Simmons who led the team in receiving in their only game this season. A lot of that was a 75-yard touchdown pass from Fowler-Nicolosi, who was just named the starting quarterback. There is already a rapport between the two, maybe even more so than with the veteran Horton. There is some good upside here.
Also consider: Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona ($7,000); Lawrence Arnold, Kansas ($6,400); Tory Horton, Colorado State ($5,100); Jamaal Bell, Nevada ($4,900)
DraftKings CFB Stacks:
Colorado
The Rams are bad bad bad on defense, but Colorado gets expensive very quickly. For purposes of this game, I would fade Edwards and stack Sanders with two receivers. Then run it back with Fowler-Nicolosi and Ross-Simmons so you can afford decent running backs.
Also consider: Kansas, Fresno State
