George Kittle - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football
1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle performed modestly in a Week 1 victory at the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching three balls on six targets for 19 yards and no touchdowns. Kittle was a game-time decision with a groin strain coming into that game so fantasy managers who stuck with him were happy to see him on the field for 69% of the 49ers' offensive snaps. He practiced in full this week and carries no injury designation going into Sunday's contest against the Rams in Los Angeles. There are many mouths to feed in San Francisco's offense but Kittle is a physical beast, the Rams defense is probably a bottom-10 unit, and TE production doesn't grow on trees in fantasy. Fire him up as a mid-range TE1 in Week 2.
