Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Jeudy had a productive college career, totaling 159 receiving for 2,742 yards and 26 touchdowns in three years at Alabama.
The former Alabama star receiver had a solid rookie season, totaling 52 receptions on 113 targets for 856 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The rookie led the team in targets and receiving yards while finishing second in receptions and receiving touchdowns in 2020.
Unfortunately, Jeudy struggled with injuries the following year. He missed seven games but ended the season with 38 receptions on 56 targets for 467 receiving yards and zero touchdowns. However, fantasy players had high hopes for the former Alabama star after the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson.

What Did Jerry Jeudy Accomplish Last Season?
However, things didn’t go according to plans in 2022. Wilson struggled in his first season with the team, throwing only 16 passing touchdowns, a career low. While the star quarterback struggled last season, Jeudy had the best year of his career.
The former Alabama wide receiver had 67 receptions on 100 targets for 972 receiving yards and six touchdowns last year. He set career highs in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. More importantly, Jeudy was the WR21 in 2022, averaging 11.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
While the Broncos had a disappointing season, the former Alabama star made several highlight reel plays. Jeudy was unstoppable in the Week 14 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, totaling eight receptions on nine targets for 73 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Is Jerry Jeudy Playing In Week 2?
The star wide receiver was a popular draft pick in August. However, a hamstring injury in training camp tanked his ADP. Initially, Jeudy was expected to miss several weeks with the hamstring injury, but that didn’t happen.
While the former Alabama star missed the Week 1 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, Jeudy was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Head coach Sean Payton today said that the veteran wide receiver will play in the Week 2 contest against the Washington Commanders.
Reportedly, Jeudy won’t be on a snap count in his first game this season. Fantasy players should feel confident starting the former Alabama star as their WR2 or flex option in Week 2.
