Jarred Vanderbilt Receives Four-Year Extension From Lakers
1 year agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt will be staying in town as he and the team agreed on a new contract extension. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Vanderbilt and the Lakers agreed to a four-year extension worth $48 million. The entire contract is fully guaranteed and includes a player option for the fourth year. This coming season is the last year of his current contract and he's due to get $4.6 million after signing a deal with Minnesota who then traded him to Los Angeles. Last season, Vanderbilt appeared in 26 games for the Lakers and averaged 7.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
