1 year agoColorado Avalanche goalie Pavel Francouz is likely to miss the beginning of the 2023-24 season after having off-season adductor surgery. Francouz seemed set to start the season as Alexander Georgiev's backup on a contending Avalanche squad, but that is now in question. The 33-year-old's career has been decimated by injuries, as he's only managed to suit up for 73 games across four seasons. When he plays, he has been good, as shown by his .919 SV% and 2.49 GAA (25.0 GSAA) across those four seasons. He will make for a good streaming option in fantasy leagues whenever he is confirmed to start for the Avs.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
