Darren Waller - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football
1 year agoNew York Giants tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) was a limited participant in practices on Thursday and Friday but insists his hamstring injury is nothing to worry about. He does not have an injury designation heading into Sunday. The veteran was the team's leading receiver in Week 1 but it still wasn't enough to give fantasy managers a performance worth celebrating. The entire Giants' offense only had 110 passing yards (63 yards when you subtract for sacks). So, Waller's 36 yards was actually a good piece of the pie. Even better, Waller gets to face the Arizona Cardinals, who surrendered the second-most points to tight ends in 2022. The defense allowed Logan Thomas to garner eight targets (4 catches for 43 yards) in Week 1. Trust Waller to rebound and view him as a top-3 tight end for Week 2.
