Paul Goldschmidt Hits 24th Homer Tuesday
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Orioles. The first-inning blast was the veteran's 24th of the season. The 36-year-old hasn't been quite as productive as he has been the past couple of seasons, but he still owns a strong .272/.363/.452 slash line with 74 RBI and 10 stolen bases. Age decline is often a worry among fantasy managers, but Goldschmidt has once again performed like a higher-end fantasy option this season.
