Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Monday, September 11, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks. PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Dean Kremer more than 5.0 strikeouts
Kremer has matched or eclipsed this total in four of his previous six starts and has a solid matchup against the Cardinals tonight. Over the previous three weeks, the Cardinals have posted the fifth-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 25.6%. They are also pairing this with a sub-100 wRC+ mark and a batting average of just .219.
Clarke Schmidt more than 5.0 strikeouts
This could be a tad dicey, however, Schmidt has struck out at least six batters in four of his previous six starts. Although the Red Sox are posting a K rate against right-handers that ranks in the better half of the league over the previous three weeks, their rate is still 21.6%, which should be high enough to get Clarke over the total here. Schmidt also managed to to mow down eight Red Sox across 5 2/3 innings pitched the last time he faced them back on August 8th.
Brandon Woodruff less than 7.5 strikeouts
This number feels a bit high for Woodruff in this spot as he has struck out eight or more batters just twice in his previous five starts. The matchup against the Marlins is incredibly difficult as well. Over the previous three weeks, Miami has posted the third-lowest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of just 17.8%. It should also be noted that no starting pitcher has gotten the Marlins for eight strikeouts since Tyler Glasnow way back on July 25th.
Sonny Gray more than 5.5 strikeouts
Gray will be up against the Tampa Bay Rays, who have posted the seventh-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of nearly 25%. Gray has struck out six or more batters in four of his previous seven starts. He will also be at home in this one where he has posted an 8.9 K/9 mark, which is slightly better than his mark on the road.
