Joshua Dobbs Stymied In Week 1 Loss
1 year agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Joshua Dobbs completed just 21 of 30 passes for 132 yards in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders. Dobbs did not throw any touchdowns or interceptions and also lost three yards on three carries while fumbling three times. Both Dobbs and the Arizona offense as a whole were stagnant for most of the day against the Washington defense and could never really get anything going. This was only the third start of Dobbs' career, and he clearly struggled against a stout Washington defense for most of the day. Unless the Cardinal coaching staff decides to switch quarterbacks, Dobbs will look to get things rolling in Week 2 against a New York Giants defense that just got manhandled by the Dallas Cowboys. Fantasy managers may want to wait and see what other options they have available at the quarterback position before choosing to roll with Dobbs in Week 2 in deep superflex leagues.
