Miles Sanders Runs For 72 Yards In Week 1
1 year agoCarolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders carried the ball 18 times for 72 yards and lost a fumble in a 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1. Sanders also caught four of his six targets for 26 yards in the season opener. The veteran running back didn't find the end zone in the loss, but his usage in the passing game was encouraging as his season highs in targets and receptions from a year ago were three and three, respectively. Sanders should return RB2 value in fantasy leagues if he continues to see that type of work through the air. He will be a solid play in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints at home.
