1 year agoAlexander Volkov picked up a second-round submission over Tai Tuivasa in the co-main event of UFC 293 in Australia. In the first round, Volkov outstruck Tuivasa 53-to-16 and even dropped the Aussie in the opening round. In the second frame, Volkov continued to piece up Tuivasa and after the two went to the ground, the Russian was in top mount and eventually got an Ezekiel choke. Volkov is now 37-10 as a pro, and is riding a three-fight win streak, and could be in the top-five at heavyweight come this week.--Cole Shelton
