1 year agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Austin Meadows will be shut down for the rest of the 2023 season, according to manager A.J. Hinch. The 28-year-old has been away from the team since early April due to mental health reasons. He continues to undergo treatment for his anxiety near his home in Florida. The Tigers aren't in the playoff picture anyway, so they've decided to let him work on himself for the rest of the season.
