Geno Smith Ready To Build On Success Of 2022
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith enjoyed a career year in 2022, earning him Comeback Player of the Year honors and a three-year, $75 million contract. He will begin his tenth NFL season against the Los Angeles Rams on September 10. In 2022, Smith had two very different experiences against his division rival. In Week 12, he passed for 367 yards and three touchdowns, but in Week 17 was held to just 213 passing yards and was intercepted twice. Smith will be throwing to DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba against a Rams defense that lost several key players in the offseason, including cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Fantasy managers can start him with confidence in Week 1.
