Rashan Gary Could Be Eased Into Lineup
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers defensive end Rashan Gary is back after tearing his ACL on November 6. He'll be playing in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears, whose quarterback was sacked at a higher rate than any other starting quarterback. Justin Fields has been among the league leaders in sacks in each of his two seasons. Gary would be a start recommendation based on his matchup. However, his volume will be limited. Packers coach Matt LaFleur has said that Gary will be on a "pitch count" early in the season until he can be eased into a full role. Gary is a cautious start in Week 1.
