Saquon Barkley Locked In As An RB1 Against Dallas
1 year agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is still the engine of the offense, despite the offseason addition of tight end Darren Waller. Barkley is fresh off of a 1,300-yard, 10-touchdown rushing campaign in 2022. He also added 57 catches in the passing game. The sixth-year pro scored in both contests against the Cowboys last season, but his yardage wasn't as consistent. In Week 3, he rushed 14 times for 81 yards. In Week 12, the totals were down to 11 rushes and 39 yards. In both games, Barkley snagged four receptions. In 2022, the Cowboys were middle of the pack when it came to yards per carry and total yards for opposing running backs. However, they only surrendered nine touchdowns on the season. Be confident with Barkley in your lineup this weekend, despite a tougher matchup.
