After leading the NFL in receptions and receiving yards in 2021, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was limited to just nine games last season due to injuries. He enters 2023 with injury concerns again, as he's dealing with a hamstring injury.
Let's check in on the injury update for the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver ahead of the team's Week 11 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Is Cooper Kupp playing in that contest? And will the veteran wide receiver end up on the injured reserve? Read on to see what his injury status means for fantasy football managers.

Is Cooper Kupp Playing In Week 1 Against The Seahawks?
On Wednesday, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay officially ruled Kupp out for the team's regular-season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
This doesn't come as a surprise considering there was news earlier this week that Kupp was away from the team, as he saw a specialist in Minnesota on Monday about the hamstring injury. He recently suffered a setback in his recovery from the injury.
Will Cooper Kupp Go On IR?
Kupp's status for Week 1 has been determined, but his status going forward remains up in the air. McVay has not ruled out the possibility that Kupp will land on the injured reserve.
What does that mean? If Kupp is placed on the IR, he would have to miss at least four games. If that happens, fantasy managers who drafted Kupp in the early rounds of their fantasy drafts will need to figure out how to fill Kupp's spot.
Is There A Rams Wide Receiver To Target With Kupp Out?
The Rams passing game is one of the least appealing in the NFL, as there are questions about quarterback Matthew Stafford's arm strength and the wide receivers behind Kupp don't have a lot of NFL experience.
Van Jefferson is available in the majority of fantasy leagues and would likely serve as the No. 1 receiver until Kupp returns. He's not as talented as Kupp, but the volume makes him a WR3/4 option until Kupp returns.
Tight end Tyler Higbee will see a major increase in workload as well. He's a low-end TE1 option with Kupp in the lineup. With Kupp out, he moves closer to the middle of the TE1 range.
