Giancarlo Stanton Joins 400-Homer Club Tuesday
1 year agoNew York Yankees outfielder/designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton made history in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Tigers. Stanton went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and three strikeouts. The 33-year-old now has 400 career HR and became the fourth-fastest player by games in Major League history to achieve that mark. This is his second consecutive season with a dip in average, but Stanton has still hit for plenty of power, slashing .205/.281/.448 with 22 HR and 55 RBI in 352 plate appearances. He should continue to offer fantasy value as long as he can hit the ball out of the park.
