1 year agoThe San Francisco Giants decided Monday to release outfielder AJ Pollock (oblique), per MLB Network's Jon Morosi. Pollock, who has been on the injured list since the beginning of August with a Grade 1 left oblique strain, played for Triple-A Sacramento over the weekend on an injury rehab assignment. The 35-year-old veteran has managed a .165/.215/.308 slash line in 144 plate appearances this season with the Mariners and Giants. Regardless of where he may end up, his fantasy value is very limited at this point in his career.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
