1 year agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) suffered a torn ACL in December of the 2022 season and is beginning the 2023 campaign on the PUP (Physically Unable To Perform) list. There's been speculation that the Cardinals will hold him out of games even when he does return to full health, but Kyle Odegard reports the franchise will play him when he's cleared. Murray was recently named a team captain for 2023 and reportedly has full support from the new coaching staff and front office in Arizona. Murray still has no targeted return date, and it remains to be seen if the Cardinals will still be interested in starting him if the team has a poor record when he's fully healed.
