The Stewart-Haas Racing driver won three of his last five races to vault up to fourth in the playoff standings. Now, what can he do at Darlington? Buescher qualified well and will begin eighth on Sunday evening. The No. 17 Ford looked solid and he did not hit the wall. The concern is that Buescher has never finished higher than ninth. He only has one top-ten stage result (10th on Stage 2 in 2021-1). Speed seems to fade off for most Ford cars here later in races.
