1 year agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Graham Ashcraft (toe) has been officially placed on the 15-day injured list on Saturday. This was the expectation after Ashcraft suffered a right toe injury. The right-hander pitched through the issue during his last start on Monday versus the Chicago Cubs. The team has decided to give Ashcraft some extra rest and place him on the IL. In a corresponding move, left-hander Chasen Shreve has been recalled from the minors. Also, right-hander Connor Phillips has been recalled with the Reds having multiple players out due to COVID-19. The assumption is that Phillips moves into the starting rotation, but so he could have streaming appeal depending on his matchup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
