1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tyrion Davis-Price has earned himself a spot on the 53-man roster. The former third-round pick is coming off a disappointing rookie campaign. He rushed 34 times for 99 yards and was held without a touchdown in six games with the 49ers last season. He's expected to be a depth option alongside Jordan Mason (foot) in the backfield. The expectation is that Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell will take a majority of the snaps to begin the season. It's worth noting that the 49ers had plenty of injury problems in the backfield last season. That being said, Davis-Price might end up having a role if the backfield doesn't stay healthy. For now, Davis-Price can be ignored in fantasy formats with the starters healthy.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
