Nathan Rourke Joins Jaguars Practice Squad
1 year agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed quarterback Nathan Rourke to their practice squad on Wednesday after the former Canadian Football League star cleared waivers, according to a source. The Jaguars waived Rourke on Tuesday but turned around and added him back to their practice squad a day later. The 25-year-old will serve as QB depth behind starter Trevor Lawrence and C.J. Beathard to open the 2023 regular season. Rourke looked good in the CFL while playing for the BC Lions, throwing for 3,349 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and adding 309 yards rushing and seven addition TDs on the ground in 10 games in 2022.
